Established in Spring of 2016, our first ever session had 6 children, we now have over 200 children of all ages and abilities who play Football regularly with TPFS.
We are a community orientated Football School based in Tufnell Park. Our main sessions are the Saturday and Sunday Football sessions at the Tufnell Park Playing Fields. We also run a Futsal session during the week, we have boys and girls teams in local leagues, half term and holiday camps as well as birthday parties and 1 on 1 and small group training sessions.
We believe in children learning to play Football whilst having maximum enjoyment in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. Our coaches are all CRC / DBS Checked and Emergency Aid trained.
We structure our syllabus to make sure we cover a range of topics. All our practices are suited to the age range of the kids. We carefully breakdown our sessions to make sure the kids get plenty of touches of the ball to develop technically. We endeavour to make sure every session is done at a fast pace and a good intensity to optimise the player’s improvement.
COMMUNITY & ETHOS
Our main focus and priority is inclusivity. We do everything we can to provide quality Football coaching for any young person who wants to take part. Whether it’s a child who’s never kicked a ball before or one who has the ability to be in an academy, we can cater for everyone. With girls only sessions, mums matches, Dad’s matches, Mum’s extra midweek training session, a bursary fund for people from more disadvantaged families to access we try to be as inclusive as possible.
Around a year into our Football School a group of our wonderful parents came together to form a support group for Tufnell Park Football School. We now have the TPFS Parent Association who meet regularly to organise fundraising events for the clubs bursary fund and provide an effective bridge of communication between the Football School, the Parents and local community organisations.
If payment of the termly fee or Team season fee is an obstacle for a child to access the Football School, we have a Bursary fund completely administered by our Parents Association to provide help with our season fee’s.

Our parents have definitely caught the Football bug and while we run our Saturday and Sunday morning session we have a Dad’s game from 10-11 followed by a Mum’s game from 11-12. This has been hugely popular and a great way to do some exercise while the children take part in the session.
Our Mums have been so enthusiastic about their Weekend Football that they now train an additional Tuesday night session at the Tufnell Park Playing Fields coached by Ben.
Local Businesses Partnerships
As a community focused club, it’s important to us that our sponsors are local businesses. All TPFS members are given a loyalty card where if they collect enough stamps from any of our local businesses they get a special TPFS prize from us! We think this is a great way of us doing our bit to support the local area.
